Body Art Competition, «Body painting» Test

Theme «Fairytales of the world»

1. General rules.

1.1. All those wishing to participate and who have submitted the application form and visited trainings can take part in the competition.

1.2. Each contestant creates his work and finished image according to the theme.

1.3. No registration fee for this test..

1.4. Model should be chosen by the participant. The age of the model is not less than 18 years.

1.5. Any assistance is forbidden.

2. Work techniques. Tools and materials

2.1. All possible techniques are allowed.

2.2. All necessary tools for drawing is allowed.

2.3. Any certificated as hypo allergic and unirritating to the skin products as well as special materials for body painting, ethanol dissolving paints and artistic materials are allowed. Use of gummosis for body sculpture is allowed.

2.4. Use of geometrical templates and personnaly drawn sketches is authorised.

2.5. Use of cliches, printing sketches, photos, etc. during competition is strictly forbidden.

3. Make-up, hairstyle and clothing

3.1. Model proceeds to the competition floor in underwear, topless. Before the start the model may wear a disposable dressing gown or a peignoir, model´s face can be covered with half-mask that should be removed by the end of the competition.

3.2. Decorative elements including clothing is allowed, but they together should not cover more than 20 % of model’s body.

3.3. Make-up, hairstyle, manicure and pedicure should be pre-done. All materials including hairpieces are allowed in a hairstyle.

 4. Judging

4.1. During the competition time judges check observation of all requirements. Every contestant can be penalized by not more than 3 penalty points for 1 violation.

4.2. Jury estimates the model’s artistic work during the defile.

4.3. Judges estimate finished work according to the following criteria of assessment: - Quality and complexity of the drawing made Quality and complexity of created composition - Finished harmonious image and correspondence to the theme.

5. Competition time

5.1 Contestants have 4 hours to finish the work. Two 15-minutes breaks for participants and for models are allowed as agreed with the Competition administrator.
