The brightest, unpredictable
and unique event in the world of hairdressers, cosmeticians, stylists,
nail-designers and visagistes – the International Beauty Expo NEVSKIE BEREGA
took place in the Northern capital of Russia.
St.-Petersburg – a city of the white nights and bridges –
meets autumn every year with this colourful action. The International Beauty
Expo has collected the best experts of the industry of beauty. Within four days
professionals shared experience, discussed tendencies of cosmetology
development, female and male hairstyles, the newest technologies of make-up and
nail-art. Tens leading stylists have shown amazing master classes at the
exhibition stands.
Within the frames of the International Beauty Expo the
following events took place:

• Open Cup of Russia on hairdressing, nail design and visage.
• Agenda for the beauty professionals
• "Foot-Profi 2010" championship.
The International Beauty Expo NEVSKIE BEREGA has gathered more than 350 leading
companies of the industry of beauty from all regions of our country; from the
CIS countries, abroad, among them are brands with world names like Wella, Londa,
L’Oreal, Matrix, Kasho, Solinger, Keune, Schwarzkopf, Estel Professional and
many other. Exhibitors have presented the big assortment of the equipment, tools
and professional tools of the known foreign and Russian companies for
hairdressers, visagistes, cosmeticians, presented novelties of the professional
cosmetology and medical equipment as well as modern technologies of "beautiful
business».
Daily sated program of master classes of known hairdressers, stylists,
visagistes, teachers of Academy of the Industry of Beauty has been shown at the
demonstration stand of the Academy of the Industry of Beauty. Each hour the new
name, the new images, new opening! Inna Khan has presented a master class «Male
youth fashionable hairstyle". The trainer of a national team of Japan Yasunori
Shichijo has shared art of "Country of the Rising Sun». Sergey Rudnitsky has
presented the «Gents Style"-"male style today","Secrets of the superiority from
Anna Mihajlova" as always haven't left indifferent spectators. Varvara
Tabutarova has created a magnificent «Wedding make-up"." Creative fashion visage
from Lyudmila Tarakanova»has drawn attention of experts because of the most
demanded directions of stage make-up. Alex Kubler has shown the new technics of
hair cut «Hair Tattoo». Natalia Tunikovskaya has given a master class
«Correction of the form of a head in short hairstyles from Academy of
Coloristics and Geometry ". Zoe Ivanova has shown execution subtleties« of a
salon commercial male hairstyle ". The beauty and elegance reigned on a podium
during a master class« Style and grace in evening hairdresses from Tatyana
Kuticheva ". George Kot has masterly and artistically created a hairdress on
long hair called a «French evening in Russia».
Within the limits of the International Beauty Expo the Championship FootProfi
2010 has taken place. The day before participants have passed training in the
educational center of the organizer of competition of company "Plastek", have
asked all questions to judges, have tried in work the competitive equipment.
Since 2003 Foot-Profi remains unique competition for masters of pedicure and a
real possibility to estimate level of one's skills and place in a rating of
professionals. The main sponsors of Championship Foot-Profi 2010 are
companies "Plastek" and ShBS & Co.
At the massage demonstration stand spectators could daily observe work of
known experts who have shown various technicians and massage methods. Vasichkin
Vladimir, Syrchenko Andrey, Listopadova Svetlana, Yermolaev Alexander, Kisurin
Igor, Frosts Sergey, Marinchenko Sergey, Zalessky Natalia, Starodubtsev
Margarita, Stetsjunich Yury, Pelevin Ariel – here only some of experts who have
presented the programs. All technicians known in the world and massage
techniques have been shown practically: curative yoga-massage, a lymphatic
drainage on Pascal Koshe, bases of light-sound therapy in Spa, a power chi kung
massage, regenerative massage of fast action on system Usin, massage of Shiatsu,
Thai classical massage, polar massage with Thai sticks, Swedish holistic
massage, the Hawaiian rhythmical massage and many other.
VI Open Independent Championship on hairdressing, nail-design and decorative
cosmetics on Cup of Russia (sponsored by Estel Professional company)
became bright event of the Expo. More than two thousand persons could try
their forces, hear opinion of authoritative experts about the works, and also
participate in one of the most prestigious world competitions for masters of the
industry of beauty. Competitions of female and male hairdressers, competitions
on nail-design and modeling of nails, competition of a fantasy hairdress, Hair
Tattoo, competition "Afro braiding", competitions of visagists, body art, Full
Fashion Look took place daily on the main stage
The defile of models of each test of the Championship, that happens every day to
15 in day, have allowed to see works of all contestants - different sides of
their inspiration, to divide these instants of beauty, charm, elegance with
participants. Seductive female images, harmonious forms of the man's hairstyles,
the advanced fashion trends – not without reason a defile is the most
long-awaited and one of the most entertainment stages of competition.
Traditionally, masters on hairdresser's art have battled in several nominations,
preparation to which occupies the majority of participants for about half a
year. Competition of students of schools and studios – 2 kinds (students,
juniors); competitions of female hairdressers – 8 kinds (masters, juniors,
pupils); competitions of man's hairdressers – 4 kinds (masters, juniors,
students); competition of a fantasy hairdress – 4 kinds (masters, juniors,
students); Hair Tattoo – 1 kind (masters, juniors); competition "Afrobraiding" -
1 kind (master). For the first time the new nomination "Fashion City" – a kind
of competitions for image makers, hairdressers, visagistes and the fashion
designers which purpose was creation of an image on the basis of a mix of
fashionable tendencies of a forthcoming season - has been presented

Nikolay Isak from Yakutsk and Oksana Vovchenko from the city of Tallinn, Estonia
has received the Grand prix.
The command «Kamsky fires», the Perm State Technological College, the city of
Perm, among the countries – Independent Association of Stylists of Estonia under
the direction of Ekaterina Mosendz (Estonia, Tallinn), among the state
educational institutions – Professional lycée of the Petersburg fashion,
St.-Petersburg became winners of command superiority. Competitions of
nail-designers (sponsored by company OleHaus) have collected about 400
participants from different cities of Russia and other countries, and here
already in the fourth time were spent by the rules developed by the
International school of nail experts INES. And it became one of the reasons of
popularity of competitions on design and modeling of nails as accurate and
uniform criteria of refereeing help to provide objectivity in exhibiting of
estimations. As the guest of honor in the Championship was present Sangmii Seo
from Korea. The open and fair refereeing of the nail championship was carried
out by leading experts of the nail industry. To participants of the Championship
on nail-design possibility to try the forces in the whole variety of
competitions, among which traditional nominations on салонному was presented to
service («salon manicure» and «Salon sculpture»), on sculpture (gel, acryle) and
to design of nails («3D design», «MixMedia» and «Design Gallery» on tips in a
box). Besides, in the Championship the correspondence applied nomination «Design
of a wedding album» which became at once enough popular among participants for
the first time has been presented! On jury court 23 works have been presented,
each of which was in own way remarkable and original. The amazing body art has
united fans of picturesque technics and an aerographics. Body painting

beyond professional competitions: as a carnival suit or a festive attire element
it is possible to order a body art in many Petersburg salons.
Competitions involved 2 tests: - Painting technique, theme: «Tropicana» (the
winner is Natalia Popovich (Estonia, Tallinn), - "Body painting", theme:
"Circus", the winner is Tatyana Velichkina (St.-Petersburg). All winners have
been awarded with cups, medals and diplomas. The festival partner – the studio
of floristic design "PassiFlora" – provided all kinds of flowers: from sale of
flowers to visitors till creation of bouquets for winners of competitions and
VIP-persons. The winners of different tests were awarded with special prizes
from the sponsors, which are sets of professional production from companies ShBS
and Co, «Estel Professional», «Ole House», «One Touch», “EMMEBI”, «Brelil»,
«Kryolan», «Brelil», "Valeri-D", gift sets from the companies "Orimi Trade",
"Concorde", magazines Season of beauty and Perfection, vouchers from travel
company "Versa", confectionery industrial complex Nevskie Berega provided sweet
prizes, magazines Art Coiffure, Nailure and You Professional have presented
annual subscriptions to editions. Winners of a beauty contest «Ms. and Mr.
Beauting 2010», organized by a social network of the industry of beauty
www.beauting.ru have been awarded. Final gala-show was spectacular. Collections
of Georgy Kot, Natalia Kondrateva, Jasunori Sichizho, Elena Kapranovoj, Nikolay
Isak amazed with the magnificence, rough imagination, professionalism of
execution. Spectators watched amazed the quickly changing styles, colors,
images.
Natalia Kondrateva's salon-studio has presented a new collection of hairstyles
«Lace on hair». A variety and complexity became a source of inspiration for
creation of original hairdresses which show one of the brightest tendencies of
this season. Laconic forms and lines have turned to graceful silhouettes. The
collection theme has been cast by facades of old Petersburg with their
bas-reliefs and tired with a heat, but happy inhabitants. The lace on hair
created grace and luxury atmosphere. The collection completely corresponded to
modern lines of aspiration in simplicity and naturalness.
Georgy Kot has presented the fragments of the first world hairdressing and make
up show. 70 unique images, more than 60 kg of natural hair and more than 10 kg
of Swarovski crystals have been used in it.
Jasunori Sichizhio has shown to public during his show two symbols contradicting
each other: these are the snow-white swans symbolizing the brilliant future on
the one hand and traditional Japanese culture of a kimono, not lost the appeal
even today, on the other hand. These symbols which are regardless time and
space, were accompanied by fantastic music of modern Japan
Nikolay Isak has presented the new
collection of hairstyles «Diamond scattering», a source of inspiration to which
became the national Yakut epos and the keeper of diamond treasures and
semi-precious stones Cholbon. Collection costumes have been generously covered
by brilliant bugles and bright crystals Swarovski, and the beauty of female
bodies was underlined by shine and brightness of diamonds.
Singer Sergey Rogozhin who has sung the songs for all spectators was the invited
star at Festival.
«NEVSKIE BEREGA» is an enchanting spectacle of beauty, elegance, magnificence.
Contestants could prove it having shown the talent and creativity. Here under
one roof hundreds participants of competitions were creating together with the
best in the world of beauty top stylists. Only here it was possible to see from
within all beauty and a charm of work of hairdressers, nail-designers,
visagistes and stylists. They worked as solid commands, showing and transferring
through works the vision of a fashion, the world and life as a whole.
International Beauty Expo is a unique festival in the world which was live
broadcasting online on the official site www.beautycup.info thanks to the
telecommunication sponsor "Metrocom". The Film crew of Company "Kaknado"
carried out event shooting. Some television groups transferred most interesting
